What are your suggestions to enhance dialogue between researchers and stakeholders?

The community of researchers in technology enhanced learning is more and more concerned with the involvement of stakeholders in view of enhancing its impact and optimising its results. Do you have success stories to suggest? What are your suggestions in this respect?

Probably a forum or a bullettin board would be better than a blog

The goal with blogs is to push the content out to as many venues as are interested, making the entire "blogosphere" a conversation. Whereas forums tend to remain more interested in the internal social connections.

In any case, whatever the tool (blog, forum, etc.) a good way to bring researchers and stakeholders closer to each other is a communication channel. Virtual environments are really great for this. You can start with an informal 'conversation', bring out ideas, and, if both researchers and stakeholders can use the same language, explain things to each others if it is not the case, then there is already a participatory activity. Both participants should start using short messages to share dreams and expectations, then, maybe in a more private setting, build together plans and start researching, developing and USING.
