"The advantage of a network is that thanks to it you can meet people you could not have met otherwise, you had ideas you would never had otherwise".

Rossella Magli, Camporosso

In this area, that we have  called “coffee corner”, we would like to provide a space where you can present yourself, formulate short statements on success stories you would like to share with us, as well as specific ideas of collaboration you might have.
Please
send an email to Claudio Delrio (CDelrio@scienter.org) if you want to publish your idea of collaboration or simply present yourself below, in our bulletin board. We hope new partnerships can develop!

From the university of Brasov in Romania
Dear Sir
We are glad for the fact that we as Kaleidoscope members have the occasion to compete for awards.
Thanks for proposal. For Romanian scientists these occasions are not so frequent.
We hope that our research done together with our European partners will raise enough interest to be finally between of the winners.

From the Centre for Sign Language and Communication of the Hearing Impaired (University of Klagenfurt, Austria):
We are a team of 5 hearing and 5 deaf colleagues, and - concerning Kaleidoscope - we have a good competence in education and training of deaf people as well as in producing sign language and other language learning materials (content, structure, video production). We have no competence in software which makes us very much dependent on flexible partners in this field. We are aiming at:
- producing operable and sustainable products (including authorware for creating such products)
- more cooperation and exchange between the groups working in the field.
We are clear about the fact that we are represent a special case within the generalists, but we still hope that we can also be integrated into the general framework as our target groups should be integrated into the societies.

From the review Innovate

I have posted an announcement about this symposium to our conference
let me know if you would like to modify it.

I would appreciate it if you would send the attached call for
manuscripts to symposium presenters. Note in our author guidelines at

Finally, I am making several presentations at a conference in Bahrain this coming October that are relevant to the topic of this symposium.
Please review the description of these presentations at http:// horizon.unc.edu/conferences/index.html and let me know if they would
be appropriate for the symposium.

From Ouak , France
Thank your for the group contacts. We've submitted an Academia-Industria People project last june within UAB Barcelona, LSBU London, UTM Toulouse and Ouak.net Nîmes. Our consortium aims to create a time awareness tool for CSCL context. We've yet worked in the prototype, TAT v2.0 running on Moodle LMS. For next joint ventures I'll contact you for being introduced to Kaleidoscope potential parners.

From the SURF foundation, the Netherlands
The Dutch SURFfoundation is interested in becoming a member of the Stakeholders' club. This is good news, as SURFfoundation is an
organisation which unites all Dutch institutions of higher education.
